You need to do nothing. Nothing at all.


You’re reading an advertisement. A scam advertisement. An advertisement that lied. The website or the notification cannot scan your gear.


Websites cannot scan your gear.


Malware scans are deeply intrusive. Deeply. They require complete access. Websites do not have access into your data.


If websites could scan your device, they’d just steal everything directly, and not bother with the VIRUS · HACKER · CORRUPT lying.


Even installed App Store apps cannot scan the contents of an iPhone. So that’s another lie, too.


These advertisements are all designed to get you to panic into doing something profitable for the advertisers.


And here, the advertiser is lying.



What to do?


Do nothing.


You can ignore the lying advertisement, and enjoy the rest of your day.
