How to disable DOH dns on IPhone

Multiple IPhones have issues with DNS properly resolving our internal mail server - our company has an onsite MS Exchange mail server - the iPhone mail client resolves the internal ip of mail server as the lan ip for our pfsense router - the same

iPhones have no issues outside our private network’s wireless -how can I disable DoH on the iPhones having this issue ? The iPhones seem

to be having their DNS overridden even when i manually set them to use the local dns server

How to disable DOH dns on IPhone:

Open: Settings
Tap: Safari
Tap: Advanced
Toggle Off: "Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection"

You don't have a problem with the phones, you have a problem with the DNS server(s) on your network.

You need to talk to the network administrator.

Thank you - waiting for the two iPhones having issues to come back in the office to test this - do you think the changes you show to disable DOH for safari will also disable DOH for the iPhone’s native mail app? - or are there a some setting changes needed for the mail app directly to get this DOH turned off ?

Thank you for your feedback but 48 out of the 50 devices on the wireless LAN have no issues with email - which includes qty(18) android based phones, qty(22) window 11 based laptops , and qty(8) other iPhones - only qty(2) iPhones have a problem getting mail on the wireless LAN - which were purchased at same time as the qty(8) that work - the qty(8) iPhones that work are using the iPhone mail app too .

Perhaps:

As long as you have configurations elsewhere for this, such as on another app or on the router, then you'll be just fine.
