Keynote: pointer disappears in "Play in Window" mode after 3 seconds

Dear community,

In full screen presentation mode, the pointer is shown permeanently when checked Preferences->Slideshow->"Show pointer when using the mouse or trackpad". All good.

But in "Play in Window" mode, the mouse pointer disappears after 3 seconds if not moved. Upon moving the pointer, it reappears. This is irritating in online presentations if you share the presenation window via Team/Zoom etc, and when using the pointer sparsely.

Is there a way to keep the pointer permanantly visible also in "Play in Window"?
