FCP- Microphone sound fix

I recorded a two-camera interview using wireless mics on Camera A and relied on the built-in mic from Camera B for backup. Unfortunately, I later discovered that my wireless mic was disconnected on Camera A however the person i was intervewing was connected properly. The interviewee’s audio is clean, but my voice sounds distant

I’m considering using the audio from Camera B when I’m speaking—then mixing that in to improve overall clarity. I’d try to clean it up in post as much as possible so the quality difference isn’t too jarring.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how best to approach this fix?

Thanks!

Hi(Bonjour),

You can try to mix and adjust your cam B audio with enhance audio and match audio commands.

But what do you think about a new recording for your question?

Thank you, Michel. Ultimately i decided to use a service by Adobe designed for podcasters that cleans up audio. I exported juts the trouble audio, ran it through the adobe engione and brought in back into FCP. Itr worked great.

I had not thought about recording my questions again, so thank you. That was my plan B.
