why is it that when i have my apple watch on siri does not announce new notifications anymore on my apple phone via earpods
I used to have my iPhone announce new notifications when I have my EarPods in. But since I have an Apple Watch I does not does it anymore.

Sorry that someone re-titled your post wrongly.
Apple’s design is that no notifications will go to the iphone if Apple Watch is being worn. The only exception is phone calls which ring on both.
You can turn off notifications, one by one, in iPhone, Watch app, My Watch tab, Notifications, in which case they do go to the iPhone.
First of all don’t know why they edited it. Because now my question is wrongly changed.
what my question is. Is that when wearing the watch and having my EarPods in the phone used to announce new callers and also the notifications when arrived on my iPhone. But now it does not do it anymore even though I have announce calls and notifications turned on and setup on the iPhone. It’s ok if both iPhone and Apple Watch sent the notification sound but I miss the announcement via Siri reading the messages or notification if it has text. I have used this setup (apple watch, IPhone and EarPods) for a longer time and not yet I had this issue before.
