How do I recover missing calendar appointments and recurring events on iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Recently my calendar got a makeover (not my choice) and all the previous appointments are now missing along with several recurring appointments. I rely on these appointments as I bill my clients based on the appointments I have booked. I had everything color coded and very organized. Now I can’t even pick a color and the history is completely gone along with all my recurring appts. I’ve tried restarting my phone. No help. Anyone know what’s happening? TIA for any help!

What mail or cloud program were you syncing your calendar with?

Meaning Apple did an update and wiped out my calendar and it looks all new and different now. I only used the Apple calendar. Not the exchange not the Gmail. I have already checked there and tried to sync. Apple chat and customer service call still cannot figure it out. Last backup available was 5/26 and a restore of that didn’t fix it. A ticket has been escalated to developers and hoping to hear back from Apple Monday. Will update at that time.
