Can I transfer all my Mac mini data to an iPad and sync my iPhone?

Currently I have an old 2014 Mac mini and I want to upgrade to a newer device. My iPhone is synchronized with the mini and I have a quite large music collection and a lot of data installed on the mini. Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer all of this to an iPad and sync the iPhone with this iPad? Or is this only possible with a Mac (like a MacBook)?

I have an old iPad but I use it all the time so I really don’t need a laptop but I don’t really know if they both can do the same.

hopefully someone can help me with my problem.

No. You cannot sync an iPhone with an iPad like you can with a Mac.

Any Mac will let you sync with an iPhone, a MacBook, an iMac a newer Mac mini.

They cannot. They are very different devices.

If you need to sync music and maintain a Music Library you need a computer for that. The iPad will not work.

Please don't fall for the low price of the MM with only 256GB of storage, get one with a minimum of 512GB of storage and then you can purchase an external SSD for additional storage. MANY users that buy the 256GB model simply find it to be lacking in space and are not tech savvy thinking that somehow they can migrate from an older Mac that has lots of storage onto a newer Mac with much less storage. Most of the time this strategy simply does not work for the same reason that you cannot pour a gallon of water into a 1 cup container.

You can store your Music, Photos and Movie libraries on the external drive.

While it's always a good idea to have more internal storage, if you aren't using the Mac for much beyond that, you can live without much internal storage just fine.

Its all a question of what you are doing on the Mac.

Unless you have a need for a laptop, like for travel, sticking with a Mac mini is in my opinion the better purchase. Also, the current Mac mini's do have upgradeable storage and some 3rd party drives at half the cost are starting to appear, so one can assume in the future an upgrade to 512 or even 1TB should not be too hard or too expensive to come by.
