Apple Music App on Windows 11 PC not playing songs like iTunes Did Before Apple Music App

Hello friends, and thanks in advance for any advice. I'm a long time iTunes user and huge music buff. A few months ago I was prompted to download the Apple Music App from the Microsoft store indicating iTunes had moved to Apple Music App and the App was the best way to enjoy iTunes. Since doing so, 95% of the time the song will not play, or it might start playing 10 minutes later randomly. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app and checked all that I know to do. Essentially I can't play iTunes / Apple Music on my PC which I have done for years. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
