Is there a way to loop just one podcast episode?

Others have asked this, and I am chiming in. Unlike Apple Music where one song can be looped/repeated, the Podcast app does not appear to have a mechanism to repeat or loop a single podcast episode, which would be extremely useful for a variety of purposes. Or if it does have such a mechanism it isn't obvious :-)

Several previous queries have been directed to a "solution' where one would add the episode to the queue or play next after downloading it. I tried doing that and while it looked like there were ten instances of the episode in the queue, as soon as it played once, they all vanished. The queue did not appear to recognize the multiple instances of the episode as anything other than ghosts.

So, back to the drawing board... any other tips?

If there is no solution then perhaps this is a feature that should be added to the Podcast app.
