Shortcut for Media Audio Routing on MFi Hearing aids?

Media Audio routing to MFi Hearing aids is a wonderful feature of iOS.

BUT

There needs to be a quick and simple button push or gesture to switch from Always/Never/Automatic since this control is buried too deeply for quick and easy access.

When Automatic or Always is selected, the audio from embedded videos on web pages can quickly make scrolling through heavily video-populated pages painful and annoying. I need to be able to quickly choose when I want that feature live or not. (btw I have never found any difference between Always and Automatic)

I generally have Never selected and rely on the video's specific Audio/Speaker button to switch Audio On or Off. Alas, many videos do not show that control. Hence my request.

If you haven't investigated them already: Shortcut possibilities that spring to mind include:

  • Accessibility Shortcut
  • Adding Hearing-Aid controls to Contol Center

Apple Support has an article online (link below) that may be helpful in finding out if either of these possibilities is feasible for the feature you want more control with

We don't know whether you are using iPhone, iPad, or Mac, so more info. below may help.

Eg: says:

"Control your hearing device

When your hearing device is connected to it, your Apple device can control microphone level (volume), audio presets, and more for your hearing device. Find the settings here:

  • iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices. To see more settings, tap the name of your connected hearing device.
  • Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Hearing Devices on the right. Learn more about Hearing Devices settings."

and

"For quicker access to some settings and features:

Article also says: "If your hearing device has its own app from the manufacturer, that app might offer additional settings and controls."
