How do I fix a misaligned and non-functioning Caps Lock key on my MacBook?

GUYSS I SERIOUSLY NEED A HELP..I BOUGHT A MACBOOK NEARLY A WEEK AGO AND I SAW SOME DUST GOING IN MY CAPSLOCK KEY SO I OPENED AND CLEANED IT BUT NOW IT IS GOING A BIT DEEPER THAN OTHER KEY AND NOT FUNCTIONING...WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP ASAP AS SOMEONE SEE THIS

The keyboard repair is usually replacing the top case of the Mac, which is generally not cheap.


As a workaround pending repair, re-map the caps lock key to another key, and place another function (such as control) on the failed caps lock key.
