The bed icon which should indicate that I’m in Sleep Focus Mode is always visible in the iOS Status Bar on my iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 18.5 even though no Focus Mode is activated. How do I get rid of it? Why are there some many bugs in iOS 18.5? Just look at Luke Mianis latest video where he showcases some of them.

I called in, as I am having the same issue, REP said no one is having this issue.
This is another big deal issue I think- apple has drop the ball. I had business calls scheduled but they could not get through and thought I was busy because of notice in the message app.
MAYBE apple should care more about details,..... not emojis and creating an animated characters of ourselves. I just want a computer that works with ease- like the old days, 6 years ago :(, and to easily find where to solve or change a setting I am having.
Lets GO Back to the basics apple - Quality over gimmicks - Not a Fan of apple any more because it is hard to use and TOOOOOOOO many apps and PWs.
I miss the days when you bought a software program and your computer was easy and worked with the program.

I do not have this issue on my 12mini.
Did you already try to set the phone back to factory settings? To rule out a backup software issue, set it up as a new device first and test the Sleep Focus.

Restarting the iPhone solves the problem temporarily. But one or a few days later the same problem occurs. Really annoying to have this false icon in the iOS Status Bar randomly.

I think you might have some luck by going into the focus settings, if you look where the schedule options are, erase all of them. It can activate when an app turns on or certain times. Removing this should help.
I ended up transferring over all of my contents to my old iPhone 8 Plus which is stuck on an older version of iOS since the iPhone 8 Plus doesn't have the unstable iOS 18 installed, and I actually don't have time to factory reset my iPhone 12 Pro Max just to reinstall everything and get the problem back (since it would still be running iOS 18 will all of its bugs even if I factory reset it).
I honestly don't have time to completely reset my iPhone and start with it from scratch every time iOS 18 showcases a bug (which is almost daily). I will instead use my iPhone 8 Plus which is running iOS 16.7.11 which is super stable.
Did you already force restart your iPhone?
Didn't work.
As mentioned, resetting the iPhone and setting it up again without the latest backup is the only way to make sure, that this issue is not connected to damaged data inside the backup.
