All of a sudden, some of my plugins, Kontakt 8, analog lab etc….. in older Logic sessions are showing up blank/greyed out in the mixer and not playing any audio. These same plugins load and work fine in new sessions.
I’m on Logic Pro 11.2 running on an Apple M2 Max chip.
Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?

Do you mean the Logic Pro application? You have to have a saved copy of the app (or know someone who stores them).
...OR you can revert back to the previous Operating Software (Ventura, Monterey, etc.) to get the compatible version of Logic Pro.

To revert to older sessions in Logic Pro, you can use the "Revert to" feature, which allows you to access previous saved versions of your project. For more general reverts, you can also utilize Time Machine to restore a project from a previous backup.
Using "Revert to":
I always take the Logic Pro application and save it onto an external drive. I rename it according to its current version (for example: Logic Pro 10.5, Logic Pro 10.7). I only do this in case things go haywire, I can always go back and work with a more stable version.

The only fix that worked for me in the past was to uninstall and install Logic Pro. This will usually fix it right away. The problem may or may not come back though. This has definitely helped me.
It happened to me after I upgraded to 11.2. It'll probably eventually happen to all third party plugins. I had to revert to the previous version of logic to work again.
OK, thanks for your response I was hoping it wasn’t anything too serious. How did you downgrade to the previous version if you don’t mind sharing?
I try and stay 1 version behind on my main studio computer and just update on my laptop. Great call!
