Apple is not involved in any way with the refund of purchases. The funds essentially transfer from the merchant’s account, through the merchant’s credit card processor to the issuer (bank) of the credit card you used.

In my experience, the merchant is generally the bottleneck. Transfer and availability of funds/credit to you is normally 3 to 5 business days once the merchant actually initiates the transfer/refund. Merchants are permitted to delay refunds up to 30 days.

Contact the merchant and request the Acquirer Reference Number ( ARN). Once you have the number, give it to the bank and they can trace the transfer. Good luck.
