The Advert Is Convoluted and Opaque, and thus, Somewhat Deceptive

I purchased AdGuard for use with Safari. AdGuard is advertised not as a stand-alone product but juxtapositioned alongside the AdGuard VPN. I purchased both items completely unaware of the fact they are independent of one another. As described, the advertising lead me to believe the two enhance one another. This is unfounded and untrue.

Twice I have ask for a refund (I didn’t use the VPN at all) and twice I’ve been denied. This is not only bad business but theft.

Have I any recourse?

thanks for your time ❤️

Apple has northing to do with AdGuard. AdGuard is a 3rd party extension for Safari unrelated to Apple.

The version in the App Store is free, and does not appear to have any in-app purchases.

Any subscription you activated, had to have been activated directly with AdGuard which again has no ties to Apple.

Any cancellations then need to be done on their website directly.
