How can I convert Apple Music to MP3 format?

I have bought about 20 songs and albums from iTunes store. The downloaded apple music songs are in .m4a format. Is there any simple way to let me convert apple music to mp3? I tried the music app but it does not work.

Thanks

Converting Apple Music songs or iTunes purchased songs from their protected formats (like .m4a or .m4p) to MP3 can be challenging due to Digital Rights Management (DRM) restrictions. Since you mentioned these are from the iTunes Store and are in .m4a format, here are some important points and potential solutions:

How to Convert Apple Music to MP3.

  1. Check if the Songs are DRM-Free
  2. Right-click on a song in iTunes or Music app.
  3. Select Get Info.
  4. Look under the File tab for Kind.
  5. If it says Purchased AAC audio file and you bought it after 2009, it might be DRM-free.
  6. If it says Protected AAC audio file, it has DRM.
