How do I control playlist suggestions in Apple Music?

I'm switching to Apple Music from Spotify for a number of reasons. I make a lot of playlists. I find the Apple suggested additions to the playlist are way off base. I put two Trance electronica songs in a play list and it started suggesting folk rock from WOTE. This is not the performance I'm accustomed to on Spotify. Is there some setting I need to make that says "suggest songs based on the songs in the playlist" because it's sure not doing that.

What you play frequently, and what you mark as favorite or as suggest less, will factor into what selections are offered.

Otherwise, the selection process tends to be a black box.

My experience with the “stations” and with the playlist suggestions has been mixed.

The weekly New Music Mix has had some good selections, and has highlighted new releases of artists I’ve frequently played, and has also had some decidedly large misses.

It is what it is. It tends to get better over time, as you use the service. (This particularly given I listen to several very different genres. Last FM could never deal with that. It always chased the most recent plays. And Jamendo had no idea. Apple Music can (usually) deal with varied and eclectic tastes, offering some of each.)
