How fast the battery loses health is directly related to how many charge cycles it has to endure. I've had my APP2's for several years. I can't really say if it's gotten worse as I just drop it on a wireless charger when I empty my pockets at the end of the day, so it gets charged every night anyway.

• Is the APP2 ANC significantly better than the AP4 ANC? Frankly, I'd be satisfied with the AP4 ANC compared to my XM5 but if the APP2 ANC is better than the AP4 ANC then I'd probably wait for the APP3 with the assumption that its ANC will be improved over the APP2.

I'd say it's better if for no other reason that you get a better seal in the ear canal with the APP2 vs the AP4.

• I'm not seeing anything in the rumor mill that the APP3 will have more colors. The black APP2 from Colorware look awesome but they're incredibly expensive ($439). Has anyone heard anything about additional colors from Apple for the APP3?
