How can I identify and avoid the 5 billionth search scam?

I’ve gotten the scam twice and i did close immediately, but each time, i get very nervous. The first time i saw it, i looked at the prizes and read it. I told myself it looked a little like a scam so i closed it. Can someone tell me how to be safe incase?

Nothing can be installed on your iPhone, so you do not need to worry about any Malware or files compromising your device. The only thing that would be concerning is if you entered any personal information. If you just entered your email address, then you can expect more scams by email, but your account is fine. If you entered a password with any account email, then that account is likely compromised. I suspect you did not do that, so you would have nothing to worry about.
