Replying to community post on iPad not working

I can create a post, usually on my MacBook Air. If, while looking through email on my iPad 10th Gen with iPadOS 18.5, I see a reply to my post and pop it open on Safari, then reply to the reply, I get an error. While typing said reply I’m usually switching between apps to verify functionality. When done writing I tap post and get an error saying I’ve timed out and to log back in to retrieve the reply. I log back in as suggested, see the reply in drafts and bring it up. But when I try to post it again I get the same error. Many times I’ve had to go onto my MacBook, open the community site there and copy the draft on my iPad into a reply field on my MacBook (don’t know if drafts are saved between devices, I’ve not seen them on my MacBook when this happens).
